If you are creating your own videos, or if you’re working with a Minnesota videographer, when it’s time to actually push your video out into the world on social media, always upload it to the site that you’re posting it on.
So if you have your video on YouTub,e and you want to post on Facebook, don’t post the YouTube link. Instead, if you upload it right into Facebook, the Facebook algorithm will show the video to more people.
It’s the same thing with Instagram and LinkedIn. Wherever you’re posting these videos, upload the video natively to that site instead of just dropping a link to YouTube. Now, if your main goal is getting more YouTube subscribers, then by all means send them to your YouTube page.
But for most people, the goal is to get more video views by the right audience. And if that’s what you want, make sure to upload those videos natively to each platform.
