On some platforms, like Instagram, you can use 5, 10, or even 15 hashtags, and the Instagram algorithm loves you for it. However on Linkedin, the magic number is 3. Put 3 hashtags at the bottom of each one of your Linkedin posts, or use them in the body of your post. The algorithm will use the first 3 hashtags in your post to determine who to show your post to, and who to recommend it to outside of your network.
I recommend having a library of hashtags related to your business that you can rotate between, especially if you are using Instagram in addition to other platforms. A good site for hashtag research is All-Hashtag. For our clients, we create a library of at least 80 hashtags, and we add new ones to the library on a regular basis as we create new content.
